Pat Lagger

For thirty years, Pat was a piano teacher, as well as a visual artist. Her artwork is inspired by her love of music and her devotion to her students and family. Pat is a compulsive reader, usually at three in the morning! Her heroes are Leonardo Da Vinci and Paul Klee. She is a member of FusedChicago, an encaustic artist group, and the Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists. She has exhibited her art in solo shows nationally and internationally and is a Ragdale Foundation and Vermont Studio alumna. Her work has appeared as cover art for a university magazine and on the set of a nationally syndicated television show. She was a parent mentor for the Chicago Youth Symphony and is occasionally called upon to judge exhibits in the Midwest. Pat Lagger was born in SanDiego, and grew up in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.
