David Lambert

Born in Essex,UK in 1946.
Began taking photographs at age 13 years, but do not have many of them from the early years.

A great love of the man-made landscape. I see images that others pass by. Have many images showing man-made items left in the landscape which nature has adopted. Much inspired by both John Piper's and Paul Nash's photography.
I feel my work now embodies the wisdom I have gained over the years and I could not have produced what I see now, 30 years ago.

After leaving school at 16 I was a studio assistant in London's West End.
For the past 39 years have been a fine art photographer at the Tate gallery.
Have exhibited in small local exhibitions in Essex and Tate staff exhibitions ,
