I trained as an architect in London, dabbling with art at the Slade School, before moving on to apprentice and then work as a photographer for a few years before going to Y&R as a copywriter. After a few years of crafting words, I began a 15 year career in publishing, enjoying pushing the transition from analogue to digital. I enjoy change, new development, creative thinking. I love creative things & I'm always pushing my own boundaries to challenge myself.
Photography is my chosen medium because it allows me to explore themes and ideas I would find impossible in others, and it is firmly rooted in the material world.

I exhibit new work in my studio, but only rarely publicly. I have had one solo exhibition in New Zealand, in 2011 and have had individual works exhibited in a few local exhibitions.
