How much do I love Susan's work? Let me count the ways. It's a rare thing to find an artist with such a perfect sense of design, space and composition. Her work takes minimalism seriously, transforming the intricate patterns of nature and distilling them into stunning simplicity. To see her work is to find solace, a balm for a frenzied life.

Susan Porter is an emerging British artist currently living in Montreal, Canada.
Her paintings are attracting a growing international following for their graphic simplicity.
Typically in her work you will see that she is a lover of minimalism, allowing the viewer to
use their own imagination to fill in the details for themselves.

Primarily self taught after Susan started painting 8 years ago when she attended watercolor classes with Shernya Vininsky-Krause, Rigaud QC
Susan then attended acrylic classes with Sonia Haberstich, Hudson, QC and Momoko Allard at the Montreal Visual Arts Centre.
