Tamara Donati

Date and birth-place: Prato (PO) Italy November 4th, 1962 Address: Via Montalese NR. 353 - 59100 Prato Tamara Donati introduces her artistic activity as follows:" My life, like my art, is a continuous journey in search of new experiences, towards a precise need of evolution. Its knowing new countries, facing new cultures. It is above all a journey to discover myself, transcending everyday life, to plunge in my inner self, so in the depth of the spirit, that is the main reason for my creating. A desire of freedom is present in my artistic production (painting and installations), showing itself in the alchemical blend between figurative and abstractionism".

In 1981 she enrolls in the Art School of Florence (Liceo Artistico Statale) where she obtains, in 1985, the high school diploma in art - Academy section. During the last year of studies, she participates in the realization of costumes and scenery for the tale: "Kwaku Ananse", performed by children, staged at the Variety Theatre in Florence.
From 1985 to 1987, she attends in Florence a course in Graphic Advertising promoted by the Tuscany Region.
In 2008 she graduates in Biosystemic Counseling after having attended a three-year course of training, integrated with art therapy and imaginative methods, by the "Society of Listening" in Prato/Italy. This allows her to develop a new approach in teaching, based on emotion, the meaning of color and creativity with the "Path Wellness-Art”.

She is present in several collective and solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad from 1986.
