Oleksandr Ostrovskyi

Alex Ostrovsky is a Ukrainian-born artist based in Sweden. His artistic journey began in Ukraine, where many of his early works became gifts and entered private collections across Europe. After a creative pause, he returned to painting in Sweden with renewed focus and vision.

Working primarily with acrylic, his art is guided by timeless values such as friendship, honesty, loyalty, simplicity, and wisdom. Through an intuitive process, he transforms emotions and ideas into layered compositions that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what makes us human.

2010–2014 – Studied at the Higher Art Vocational School (VHPU) in Hrytsiv, Ukraine, where he received a Junior Specialist degree in Decorative and Applied Arts and Design.

2003-2008 studied at the art school in the city of Shepetivka, where he acquired an initial knowledge base in painting.

He has participated in several group exhibitions, most recently presenting his work publicly in Gothenburg in 2025. Alongside Saatchi Art, his works are also featured on other online art platforms.
