Anna Maier

I use art to express my feelings and thoughts.

As Caspar David Friedrich said: “ The artist should not only paint what he sees before him, but also what he sees in himself. If he sees nothing within him, then he should also omit to paint that which he sees before him.“ I see something in myself, that is why i paint.

Hence, to me creating a piece of art means to dedicate myself to an inward process of creating, but also to share the result with others.

My joy and satisfaction about a piece of art is never due to its material value. Since my youth I am interested in art. First i was fascinated by fashion designs, later by the means of visual arts expression.
