BIO: Andrew Agostino is a new media artist who grew up in Montreal, Canada where he worked for many years as a film and theatre professor, instructional designer and at times, a freelance writer, photographer and corporate videographer. In 2010, he retired from teaching and decided to work full time developing his craft. His passion is to combine and fashion a variety of media and media products in order to produce a single, more powerful theme that is not native to any original source. He doesn’t consider himself to be a photographer in the traditional sense because he never really married into any particular medium. He is not influenced by great photographers, but rather, by great artists. Specifically, his work draws inspiration from the pre-war, German expressionist movement. The work not the medium should define an artist.
