Finding the Right Path Painting

Art and creating by hand has been a passion of mine since my childhood. But I did not pursue the path of a professional artist until after my son was born. Big life events can really give you a new perspective on how you live your life. He gave me that boost of strength I needed to pursue the passion that truly fulfills my soul. With every artwork that I create, I imbue my emotions, my memories, my experiences. My art is a true reflection of the many sides of me. The nature and animal lover, the free spirit, the mother, the daughter, the sister, the woman struggling with depression and anxiety. I am all of those and more. Art is a way for me to speak to others when I have no words to say, and it is a form of therapy for me when I most need it. Each piece created is a part of me, and sometimes it is hard to see that piece go. But I want my art to go to good homes, and breathe new life into those homes.
