The cradle of civilizations that has hosted many civilizations, continues to inspire today's art and artists with its thousands of years of history.
Pottery, which has been going on for thousands of years in Anatolia, is evolving, classical arts winking at modern arts. The emergence of this concept in the synthesis gives rise to the understanding of evolution as well as the revolution. Synthesis is an effort to adapt Classical Iznik ceramics to the world ceramics of the 21st century. It is the first stage of the journey of merging the accumulations from our roots with Anatolian culture and rituals and integrating with the
world.
I feel like part of my culture and part of my country, which gave me a language, my body, my eyes and my soul. We are one.
We always look up. People were born to look up. Where’s eternal sun makes its endless run. Our star was long before us and will shine when all of us are gone.
I clutch the pliable clay in my hands and think about what I will make of it. Elegant vase? Or a simple dish? It does not matter. I want to put the warmth of my soul and the mastery of my hands to my works of art. I want to put a piece of my little sun burning in my chest into every object that I create.

She studied Business Administration at Anatolia University – Eskisehir. She graduated in 1998 and started her finance career this year. For 10 years she worked in various commercial banks as Retail Banking Manager. She has licences from Capital Markets Board, Treasury Undersecretary and stock exchange broker licence from Borsa Istanbul (Stock Exchange Market) She quited her finance career in 2008. Since 2010 she has been attending to State’s various art courses such as ceramics and ceramic decorating. She has got art classes with scholarship from MoMa ( Museum of Modern Arts) New York. Getting online course with a scholarship from Harvard University, Japanese Scripts- from manuscript to print. Got Artificial Creavity online course from Parsons Design School, New York. She is getting Korean Calligraphy and Korean Painting Classes from Korea Cultural Center Ankara (Advanced Level) , Korean Language Classes (Beginner Level)
She has been studying Master of Fine Arts at Hacettepe University, Department of Ceramics since February 2024
