Bo Chen

Born in Anze, Shanxi in 1976
Since 2000, the artists in Songzhuang have been photographing in the form of pictures, recording the changes of Songzhuang and the living conditions of the artists for a long time. This documentary theme won the prize in 2017 at the first "Reflect -- Documentary Video Award".
In 2019, he performed the documentary film "Ants Dynamics". This film was shortlisted for the 2021 Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival
In 2020, he completed his first independent documentary "Gone East Outside ChaoBai" and won the art pioneer award at the first Yanjiao Biennale New Wave Film Exhibition. In 2021, "Gone East Outside ChaoBai"Shortlisted MIFW Mǎo International Film Week Best photography in viewing unit. In 2022, "Gone East Outside ChaoBai", shortlisted in the Second World Nomadic Short Film Exhibition
In 2022, "Person" won the "SPECIAL MENTION PERSON" at the 33°Festival International deCinemaMarseille FID。Completed the second independent documentary film “Artist's Message'”in the same year
From 2018 to 2024, he created and photographed the landscape series "Relics".
