Claire A Cooper

Born 1971 in Nottinghamshire. Claire now lives in the North East of England with her family. She is an Artist/teacher and creates work that reflects her views of the world.
My work reflects the world I see around me, The beauty and the not so nice elements. I have explored all manner of themes in my artwork over the years and am currently exploring my relationship with my locality, particularly the coast and how where I live, walk and be Impacts my health and how I cope in a world that is becoming ever more stressful and anxious. My art is my response to that. I make art as it helps keeps my mental health good and allows me to express who I am. Art making in part of my DNA. I hope you can connect with it too.
