Christine Scheer

My work usually deals with animals: specifically, how they are manipulated by human technologies or used as allegorical references to human suffering. Whether I am musing about the modified DNA of the creatures affected by nuclear radiation fallout, the effect of pollution on hyenas, or the corporatization of the ocean fishes on a global scale, the whimsical works featured on this page address our fellow multi-legged brethren. Whether we like it our not, for better or for worse, our human presence affects our home planet creature residents.
