Born and raised in Italy, I moved to London in 2010.
My artistic education started in Florence, where I studied Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts.
My artistic research almost immediately focused on the subject of the Still Life, which gave me the opportunity to start a progressively more minimalistic way of representation. While still recognisable, I stripped the shapes of the objects to their outlines, exploring a variety of medium like acrylic colors, fabric, and plaster.
My work was influenced by many artist, starting from the Still Lifes from the Renaissance, to many artists that approached art with minimalism, like Manzoni, Malevich, Scarpitta, Elssworth Kelly,
Nicholson, Castellani, Burri, Fontana, and many others.
On my last year as student at the Academy, my work was featured in some exhibitions organised to promote young contemporary art in Florence
After I moved to London I completed a Master Degree in Photography at the London College of Communication in London.
