I make machines that do not work, at least not in the traditional sense. Art is a machine that moves in a different way to the one we understand. Art is an idea; the art object is a vessel to carry that idea forward.

I am interested in the transition between material and artwork, and exploring the ‘function’ of objects in art.

I have a sculpture studio in Hackney Wick, and a 2D Studio in Seven Sisters.
