EDUCATION
Working primarily in steel,acid, lead and wax from her studios in East London, Jo’s work is the result of 36 years of chemical and material experimentation,having spent time studying etching and photographic processing.
Jo Gray’s studio has been migrating around London for the past 30 years, propelled by the juggernaut of urban regeneration and industrial demolition. Whilst producing art she has worked as a 19th Century frame restorer, gilder, furniture maker and film tutor.
