Keith Bowcock

I was born in the UK in 1946 . After spending much of my career in design I retired and found myself able to indulge more of my time in painting .Originally from Leicester I now reside in Teignmouth , Devon , UK . Having a love of the sea , water and scenery this part of the world provides me with an endless supply of interesting subjects and lighting to use in my art .
I am an artist who prefers oils and have a particular interest in detail . Most of my paintings are produced on canvas board which means that I can easily choose a size to paint and of course makes it easier for international shipping .
My love of nature and photography saw me evolve as an observer and this quality is reflected in my detailed oil paintings . Most of my works fall into the landscape and seascape category . Cityscapes , particularly London and Venice , also give me much pleasure . I still enjoy portraiture and abstract as a change .

I have succeeded in winning a number of local awards in Devon and was pleased to be featured as a finalist of the Seascapes and Rivers Competition in the International Artist Magazine . My work is becoming more sort after resulting in sales as far away as New Zealand .
