Indefinable forms on my paintings are “potential” like the first stroke of a line at a beginning of a drawing. People reveal themselves in amazing way by wondering what this form might be.
Some visitors of my exhibition saw fish in my paintings – their minds could swim in my paintings.
Some saw birds in my paintings – their minds could fly in my paintings.
Others recalled their playing in their childhood.
What a beautiful feeling that these visitors have made me feel!
A work of art will be completed by a relationship that an audience creates with it.
Many questions do not have an easy answer. Only the answer that you find is the right one for you.
I keep asking myself the questions.
People say a painting resembles a window; you watch a world through it. What do you see when a painting has been painted on several canvases? What divides a world or connects worlds?
I want to provide a space, where you can find something valuable in yourself.
Graphic elements such as colours and lines will guide you and give impulse and energy.
I was born in Tokyo and I have been living in Germany since my Study at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design.
