Rosy D'Alessio

Based in Bedford, UK, I am an artist passionate about creating and interpreting art. I have a background in fashion design and clothing technology. After four years studying Fashion Design and Clothing Technology at Bensfield College of Arts & Technology, I worked for several years in the fashion industry in London. My career included designing for a then famous leisurewear deigner company, Inega Jeans, and later with other fashion manufacturers, distributing clothing both in the UK and abroad.
I have also worked in the costume department of two films, during college years in what was then the London Ealing Studios, where I worked on the beautiful historic costumes for the film *Barry Lyndon*. A few years later, I worked in the costume department on the set of *Revolution* (starring Al Pacino and Nastassja Kinski) in the costume department.
Throughout my artistic journey, I have continually cultivated my skills, experimenting with various mediums and styles—particularly enjoying painting both in oils and in watercolour. I space across a myriad of subjects, recently however I am producing mainly landscapes, (often plein-air), abstracts, geodes and sketching.

2025 - One week at the Pavia Art Gallery. Group exhibition in collaboration with four other artists.
2024 - 2025 virtual shows in the bi-annual USA tour 2024, Miami, Los Ageles & New York
2023 - two day group exhibition "Donna in Luce" in Rome at the Pio Sodalizio Dei Piceni.
Past years Art Exhibits include international, National and local Group and Personal Exhibitions.
