Those inconspicuous scenes in life are the source of inspirations of my works. I like painting in a very natural and direct way, rather than simply copying the objects. This usually requires me to transform some elements subjectively and reproduce these scenes using such elements as color, brushwork and texture, to make them both familiar and strange. I hope these works could give people a feeling of relaxation, because I had the same relaxed state of mind when creating them.
