Michael Gaffney

Award winning photojournalist Michael Gaffney was the personal photographer to Muhammad Ali from 1977-1978, amassing a collection of over 8,000 photographs and countless hours of tape recordings. Piecing together over 100 rare insider photos from this collection along with the recordings, Gaffney presents an authentic visual look back at Ali in his book, "The Champ-My Year With Muhammad Ali." The quotes which describe these photographs are from "The Champ" and 14 of these images in two different sizes are now being offered in a Limited Print Edition. Michael Gaffney had a Corporate Photography business in New Jersey for 34 years before moving to Sunriver, Oregon where he continues a lifelong love of making pictures.
