Peter D'Alessandri

Having lived and worked in the “real world” for the twenty odd years after leaving art school, I decided I did not much care for it. I returned tentatively to art and painting in 2005, and now work full time as an artist from a studio in Eastbourne.
I am fascinated in the dynamic relationships between artist, model and viewer, and how the “male gaze” may be both the theme and motivation for my recent work.
