For more than ten years I have worked as an interior designer, spending a large part of my life engaged with both the visual and practical aspects of space. Alongside this profession, drawing and painting have always been a natural and essential part of my life. Whenever I have free time, I return to painting or drawing. No matter where life takes me, it is something I consistently come back to. I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects and appreciate the balance between detail and freedom. After spending long periods focusing on intricate details, I enjoy shifting to working more intuitively with color — and vice versa. My primary medium is oil painting, but for relaxation I also turn to watercolor and small illustrative works. At the heart of my creative process is a simple idea: I enjoy creating beautiful things. Whatever feels beautiful to me in a particular moment, I try to capture it spontaneously on paper or canvas. I love creating spaces, and I love creating art that can live within them. In many ways, my work is simply about making life a little more beautiful.
