Shorouq Shabsoug

SHOROUQ SHABSOUG is an accomplished abstract figurative artist whose work explores the interplay between form, emotion, and the human experience. Through a dynamic fusion of abstraction and figuration, Shabsoug creates evocative compositions that challenge traditional representations of the human form, inviting viewers to engage with the raw essence of identity, memory, and connection.
Drawing inspiration from all the world narratives, cultures and artistic movements, Shabsoug employs a distinctive visual language characterised by her technique, uses mixed media with mostly acrylic colours and various inks to create expressive artworks on canvas and paper.
Each piece is a testament to the artist’s ability to balance spontaneity and intention, resulting in works that are both deeply personal and universally resonant.

Shorouq has a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. She has been in love with art since she was six, and was supported by her parents who believed in her talent. Great teachers nurtured and mentored her and helped her build her experiences in the use of colour, different types of media, textures and everything related to fine art. All of which has developed her skills continuously and shaped her talent.
