My artwork is a form of shadow-work. It explores our most authentic nature: our relationship with the world, nature, each other; our diverse emotions; the difficulties we face and overcome; the brutal struggle we put on against adversities; and finally, the growth we gain after suffering. Utilizing the profound Asian mythologies, literature, and philosophy, my art serves as a bridge to acknowledgment and awareness. It is a lens through which we see who we are, our ideologies and fears, our strengths and weaknesses — our most crude yet refined form.
