Paul Lewthwaite is a sculptor with an extensive international exhibition record and a growing portfolio of commissioned monumental public artworks.
Born in 1969 on the Isle Of Man, Paul Lewthwaite moved to Sunderland in 1990 to study Fine Art, winning the degree show prize for art. He moved his studio to Nottingham in 1995, and after 16 years, relocated to Surrey, England.
He is currently the Sculpture Specialist at Cranleigh, an exclusive boarding school in Surrey.
Paul is a Fellow of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and an elected member of the RBS council.
He has won several awards and has been artist in residence at various prestigious galleries and institutions. He is an Associate Lecturer, BA (Hons) Fine Art, at the University of Nottingham and has mentored early stage practicing artists on the University of Derby's Post Graduate Certificate in Arts Practice course.
