Anna Lobanova

I am a Russian artist. Born in 1991 in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia. Graduated from Academy of Art and Design in Saint-Petersburg. Captivating people with art by living technique, light strokes and thick colors. Currently live in Hong Kong.

I started drawing when I was 5 years old. As a child, I danced and drew, but when I had to choose, I chose painting and creativity in general. I painted people and things that I liked and not really. Sometimes I just like to look at people, their types and images, I can fall in love just with a person, People’s faces with all their wrinkles, make-up, naturalness, scars and shadows can tell a lot... even if I don’t see these people anymore I can transfer this image to canvas, I am glad that I have emotions in my hands that I can show with paints and canvas... time freezes when I draw. And what is hidden behind these faces, the viewer decides for himself. I only feel what is happening inside me deep in my heart. And that feeling never fades.

My exhibition of female feelings contains images of women (and maybe one soul who travels in space and experiences different experiences in different bodies), these women helped me through difficult times, internal experiences and pulled out of depression, they are a talisman and I hope that those who want to buy them will also feel the power that will help them move on through life no matter what.
