Born in Nottingham, England, Christine Rollitt is Fine Art trained and works in oils, watercolour, gouache and mixed media but her main medium for expression is stitch combined with painted surfaces.

Christine attended Queen Elizabeth I Grammar School, Alford, Lincolnshire. Her Foundation Art course was completed at Grimsby College of Art and Technology. She gained an honours degree in Fine Art at Kingston School of Art and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at Middlesex University.
Christine studied Creative Textiles with the Open College of Arts and at the City Literary Institute, London. She gained City and Guilds Part 1 Creative Studies and Embroidery at West Herts College and Part 2 at the Opus School of Textile Arts.
