Alex Ocampo

I am a painter/photographer working in Buenos Aires.
I started to love and practice art at the feet of my grandmother, Ana Maria Guevara Lynch, one of Che's aunts. She was an accomplished amateur. In time I became a disciple of Jean Josse, an english artist working in BA. After studying architecture, and a long sojourn in a Vedantic monastery I became a comercial and art photographer and a painter, polishing my technique in various workshops.. My work has been shown in the BA Modern Art Museum and several other argentine museums. My paintings belong to several private colections here and in the USA and the UK.
