Andreja Peklar

I am a painter, illustrator and author of children's books.

My illustrations have been published in several books and magazines and exhibited at several selected international illustrator’s exhibitions.
I have also won several awards including Purple Island Award at Nami Concours Korea 2015, Honorary mention at Global Illustration Awards at Frankfurt 2017,
Best of the Best at Hii Illustration China 2017 etc. Some of my books were included in the White ravens selection by Internationale Jugendbibliotheque Muenchen. In year 2018 I was selected for Bologna Chiildren's Illustrators Exhibition and nominated for IBBY Honour list.

Graduated in painting at Academy of Fine Art, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Studied art history and philosophy at Faculty of arts (Filozofska fakulteta) in Ljubljana, Slovenija
