Jianulla Zimmerman

I have drawn and painted since I was a child. As an elementary school teacher, I always looked forward to time for art. During my undergraduate days at the immaculate Heart College, Sister Corita Kent’s serigraphs combining words and images with the message of peace and social justice were displayed throughout the campus. Her work set the tone for my studies and my life. My paintings often tell a story or evoke a moment in time.
