Born 1954 Melbourne AustraliaContemporary Realist Painter, Muralist.I have spent most of my life living on the East Coast of Australia, but have also travelled and worked through Europe, US, the Middle East and the Pacific and Indian Oceans.The sea, people and their habitat inspire me. These elements permeate my work.While the summer beaches are a continual element, they are punctuated with retro buildings from my past and recent visits to islands in the Pacific and Indian oceans.I see these works as contemporary realism, flattening the picture plane and avoiding traditional focal points. Then bathing the image in the warm glow of sunlight.
