I love moving beyond any preconceived ideas of what is possible. I love painting or fashioning the life I live, whether it is a new surface or a blank wall, a subtle flavor or a zinger to the taste buds. We must put on or thinking caps . Let’s see, instead of” “thinking caps”, we can put on a striped violet chapeaux with braided fringe and beaded bands, antennas and proboscus. Think colorful and elongated, puffy and bushy. Think cerebral and cloudy, misty and silver gray. Think animated and silly, magical and surprise. Think pastoral and serene or dusty road and stilted house. Think outlines and space or curly ques and petals. Think shrouded and mysterious or concrete and stones. Think slashing, sun laden, beach tinted and fishy. Think animal patterns, fuzzy caterpillars, gauzy butterflies, and sultry snakes. Have fun. Why be ordinary? I challenge all of us to blow the world away with the art we fashion.
