Roja Amiri

My name is Roja , and I am a mixed media artist based in London.

I specialise in combining elements of painting, hand stitching, beading, block printing and dyeing on fabrics to create my works.

I truly enjoy experimenting with different styles and materials. I’ve got a massive love for textile and colourful threads.

After spending a few years playing with textiles, embroidery, block printing, and fabric dyeing, I developed my own style and process, which I call Thread Painting .

I studied Dramatic Literature at university due to my interest in art and media. In 2014, I completed a short course in textile design at a private institute.
