Kyle Roberts

Kyle Roberts (b. 1992, Bangor, Wales) is an artist and printmaker based in Ramsgate, Kent. His practice explores speculative archaeology, ancient megalithic architecture, and esoteric symbolism through oil painting and mixed media. Drawing on vintage photography and colonial-era documentation, Roberts creates an uncanny visual language that blurs the boundaries between historical record and fabricated myth.

Settling in Kent at the age of 15, Roberts has since exhibited across the region, most recently BEYOND, a solo exhibition that took place in Hold Gallery. Alongside his painting, he has self-published three books, including Dr. Sam the Pyramid Man (2021) and The Raven (2025), an illustrated children’s edition of the Edgar Allan Poe poem.

His recent work incorporates small cast concrete pyramids, cryptic symbolic alphabets, and interactive public engagement—most notably through a limited-edition series of “Mystery Bags” blending sculpture, coded messages, and urban legend aesthetics. Roberts is currently developing a long-term project to construct a contemporary megalithic monument informed by forgotten technologies and speculative histories.
