I was born in Vukovar, the former Yugoslavia. Currently, I live and work in Subotica, Serbia. The starting point of my work is based on feelings of the inner self in different contexts and a desire for self-exploration through different media and artistic techniques. My work commences as a translation process of personal experiences to find a place and meaning in a wider collective space. As my artistic process evolves, it seems to push the boundaries of language and transcend reality, establishing a personal system of values and symbolic order while also reconsidering the relationship between drawing and painting as a non-symbolic spiritual discipline within existing systems. My work was supported by the DOTS Foundation from December 2021 to May 2023.
