I am a Singapore based artist, a research scientist and mum to a busy toddler. I enjoy working with watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels and inks. I've studied Figure Drawing, Mixed Media painting at the LaSalle College of Arts and Chinese Ink painting at NTU. My main artistic interests lie in Urban Sketching, minimalist abstracts and still life. I love working on portraits, landscapes, and figure drawing. My artistic process is less calculated and more intuitive. I paint what I truly feel dear to me. All my artworks are very personal, and hold a significant meaning to me, while being relatable across cultures and generations. I often seek inspiration from everyday happenings and translate them into paint on canvas. I enjoy sharing the joy of painting with others through my artworks.
