Hi, I'm Mika, i am an artist, was born in a small colorful city - Elista. Our unusual culture, architecture, national outfits and boundless steppe are always influence on my art and inspire me.
A landmark event for me was the publication of my works in 2002 in the collection of gifted children, which determined my further creative path.
My creativity is influenced by many factors: my hometown, our national culture, my environment, thoughts, people and, of course, my emotions. I draw when I'm sad, when I'm tired, when I'm happy and when I want to take off or spin and laugh. Mostly I draw girls, different girls in different poses, movement, in them I see myself, in them I express myself at some certain point in my life. And I also really like to draw small details of the painting, for example, how the dress flows when moving or cigarette smoke. Every girl in life plays many roles, tries on different images, from a fairy and a ballerina to a fateful liberated woman. I use different techniques, different ways to convey these images, I try to experiment, mix them to get something unique.
In the period from 2018 to 2020 i was studied in workshops at the Moscow State Art and Industrial Academy of Arts. Stroganova, where i received a classical education in the course of painting. Also during this time I learned vector illustration: completed courses in Commercial illustration in the Highlights online school, painted paintings to order. I am always learning, trying something new, it is impossible to stand in one place in my artwork, currently I am mixing different techniques in my paintings.
I try to participate in the most popular exhibitions whenever possible. My main exhibitions are as follows:
2021 - “Artvilnius 2021”, Lithuanian Exhibition Centre (Litexpo), Vilnius, Lithuania;
2021 - collective exhibition "Preserving the Heritage: Painting of the Soviet Union”, Astrakhan state picture gallery named P.M. Dogadin, Astrakhan, Russia;
2019 – “PAN Amsterdam 2019”, Amsterdam RAI, Amsterdam, Holland;
2019 - personal exhibition "Wind of the Steppe" in the gallery "Grafika", Moscow, Russia;
2017 - collective exhibition “Transmitting precise time signals”, Center for Contemporary Art Winzavod Moscow, Russia;
