Gabriel Pasin

Gabriel, known as Preto Pasin, (b. 1987) from São Paulo, Brazil. I am a painter and art director whose work is permeated by the universe of horror. I bring in my paintings representations of fear and the unknown, capturing the dark essence of the human psyche.

The painting techniques I use are oil and watercolor, mixing dark tones with striking brushstrokes. Grotesque and distorted scenes, often inhabited by deformed and monstrous human figures. Exploring horror in all its forms: fear, anguish, loneliness and despair. Each brushstroke is carefully applied to convey the sensation of a distorted reality, in which the viewer feels immersed in a living nightmare.
