TALILA SHIR, PAINTER: A graduate of Haifa University in art, I have supplemented my skills with the finest painting instructors in Israel.
In the past, my paintings depicted urban and naval scenes and explored the nude female form - in hyper realistic style, in oil and acrylic. Presently I am working on sea and desert scenes, in realistic-expresive style, in oil on canvas. I was born in Tel Aviv, Israel.

In my art, I seek the permanent, in a world of rapid and extreme changes of norms and trends.
I find the open landscapes of the sea and the desert to be an anchore against the media saturated modern environment and an ever increasing flood of information.

I am A graduate of Haifa University in art. I have supplemented my skills with the finest painting instructors in Israel.
I Exhibited in Beit Emanuel (formerly: The Ramt Gan Museum) in a Solo exhibition; The Museum of Jewish Art (Yad Labanim) in Ramat Gan, in a group exhibition; and numerous private exhibitions. During the month of November 2007 my paintings are exhibited in a Solo exhibition, at the Hanita Museum, Current Art Pavilion.
