Creativity has always been at the core of my life, a constant need and a form of escape, no matter the circumstances. I have been painting since childhood and has always found ways to express my artistic vision, even while traveling. For me, art has been a therapy which helped me to maintain mental health specially when life is difficult. Initially, I explored figurative painting, teaching myself different techniques while attending a few workshops. Over time, my artistic journey led me to abstract painting, which I find deeply liberating. Abstraction allows me to express myself fully, transforming even an initial "mistake" into something meaningful. I am particularly drawn to working with texture and layering, using multiple layers of paint to create depth and invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the artwork. I currently lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand, a city that inspires me profoundly. My passion for art is also deeply connected to my husband, who has a strong interest in the field and was once an art collector. Together, we worked for American galleries for many years, handling thousands of paintings. Our expertise focused on 19th-century Impressionism and modern Impressionism, giving us a deep appreciation for artistic movements and techniques. In Bordeaux, I exhibited twice with a series of paintings about the city titled Il était une fois Bordeaux, which was well received. However, art has remained a personal passion rather than a professional pursuit, and I intends to keep it that way. My work reflects my nomadic spirit, shaped by years of expatriation in diverse cultural settings, including New York, London, Italy, Ouagadougou, Abidjan and Hong Kong. For me, creativity is boundless—it exists everywhere and serves as an open door to imagination and freedom. Above all, I am deeply grateful for the support of my family. Their encouragement and positive perspective on my work are invaluable, and i will always cherish their belief in my artistic journey. The title of my last exhibition is Hope and Renewel because my paintings reflects positivity, and should bring good vibes where it stands. I am particularly concerned about human rights and fight against human trafficking. And see my art as a tool for awareness and transformation.
