Max Forsythe

I am a photographer, I have worked mostly in advertising but with a very reportage style.
I am very interested in colour and the way it was neglected by photographers for so long.
I published a book called Colour Prejudice composed of images that really only worked in colour.
I have also published a book called 'Drive by Shooting'. A series of images capturing fleeting pictures from moving vehicles.

I was educated as a graphic designer at Belfast College of Art and the London College of Printing

My first solo exhibition of colour photography was at Hamiltons Gallery London in 1984.
Since then I have had quite a few solo exhibitions and also taken part in a lot of group shows.
I have had work accepted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
My work is in the collections of the Royal Photographic Society and the Museum of Photography, Bradford
