Irene Haney is an Italian-Canadian painter whose work blends Mediterranean imagery with bold, contemporary realism. Inspired by her travels and multicultural upbringing, Irene paints sea life, food, and decorative tile motifs with expressive color and symbolic detail. After years working in international recruitment across Europe, she is now dedicating herself to art full time.
Her paintings reflect a love of southern European culture—particularly Portugal and Italy—and explore themes of memory, nourishment, and belonging. Irene currently lives in Amsterdam and will be relocating to Rome in 2025.
