Alex Bland is a Master Photographer alternating between pure aesthetics and constructed design. After obtaining his second degree from the Winchester School of Art, Alex went onto specialise in Fashion by obtaining a Masters in photography from the prestigious London college of fashion. He has featured in international art publications, and has worked on campaigns for Vogue China, Visionaire, Cartier, and Burberry whilst assisting renowned photographers such as Brendan&Brendan and Sølve Sunsbø.
Alex believes the genre of Fashion is the "fidelity of beauty and illusion." This fundamental belief underpins the work he creates making it flutter between the fresh, dynamic and thought provoking. He has been showcased and exhibited by galleries such as Saatchi, Shoreditch town hall and victoria house. Though presently working on his commercial fashion portfolio, Alex feeds his passion for art photography by creating contextualised visual projects.
