Miroslav Belacevic

I have been engaged in painting my whole life, but professionally since my visit to Florence. There I have experienced Stendhal syndrome*. Impressions were so immense that I lost consciousness inside the Uffizi gallery. Upon my return to Serbia I started to paint intensively. Only later I discovered that similar thing first happened to Stendhal - thus the syndrom name.

Eternal topics, man's relation to cosmos, material and spiritual, coincidence of thoughts and events, Carl Jung's synchronicity or signs of Bishop Nikolaj Velimirović. This can be seen on my paintings, through symbols and overall energy they emit.
