Elizaveta Vorobeva

My paintings explore empathy and human connection beyond words. Working in contemporary figurative painting, I use bright, complementary colours to capture the quiet stories hidden in everyday details.

Hands appear repeatedly in my work as a way of seeing from another person’s perspective. I’m also interested in how their posture can translate emotion.

I am especially interested in moments of presence that might otherwise go unnoticed. Each painting is made to reward slow looking and to create a simple, personal connection with the viewer.
