Ca bfuill tu my name is James and I am from Ireland where I was born in 1979 and was raised outside a small village called Ballindangan .I have been a creator or imitator since I was able to lift a pen and had decided from an early age to be an artist .I am a graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design where I majored in fine art printmaking .I became a member of the Limerick printmakers upon completion of my studies and remained a member there for 3 years before I began my travels .I currently reside in South Korea where I am teaching and completing work for my next exhibition.My work is mostly meticulous and detailed and really takes me some time to complete but thats how I like it .Some tuthors would often say to me why do you just take the source material and just do a digital print but if I had done that then I would have done away with the best part which is the graft and technique the parts I enjoy .I am inspired by artists such as Dali and Close,Beardsley and Clarke as well as the contemporary Japanese printmakers whose work and detail is just mindblowing My work is both realistic nd expressionistic and dark but I dont like to label it just create it I think that is a problem in todays society everything has to have a n...

Stiofain Naoife (97-98) Cert in fine art appreciation,prep year in animation at Ballyfermot college Dublin(98-99),Degree and Diploma in fine art Limerick School of Art and Design(99-03).Member of Limerick Printmakers(03-06).Whilst at Limerick printmakers I partook in the gallery exhibits for winter and summer and also in the unframed exhibit which also was on show at other venues in Ireland.In 2005 me and a group of friends formed a group of artists and proceeded to have exhibits throughout Ireland in a number of exhibits called A.K.A which received local media attention.Since early 2006 I have been travelling throughout the world and have been living in South Korea since 2007 where I am currently teaching and creating new work.,In 2009 I exhibited 4 pieces in the APW gallery NewYork as part of the exhibit Art on Record .In May the following year I had exhibits at Jeonu riverfest and the alternate worlds exhibit in Seoul Bundong South Korea at cafe mosaic.
In August I exhibited at gallery Jay in the exhibit Domestic Bliss which featured a host of international artists.After this exhibit I took part in the international artists exhibition at the Yeongseong arts centre in Seoul.
