Lubomir Tkacik

From inventing imaginary topographies as a teenager to deconstructing landscapes through a Cubist lens, my work has always been rooted in a search for structure. While my background is in heavy oils and Expressionist color, my current focus lies in the delicate volatility of ink and watercolor. I use the permanence of ink to anchor spontaneous movements, creating figurative and landscape works that favor raw honesty over polished perfection. My art is a study of draftsmanship—using line to navigate the tension between the world we see and the world we feel.
