Alexandra Barnes

Alexandra was born and raised in southern Connecticut, but bounced around warmer weather for the majority of her 20s. When she returned to her northern roots, she was ever ready to capture the essence of rural New England charm. She loves to photograph historical homes and barns, landscapes, the seasons, recipes in the making, and absolutely anything that makes her smile.

Her love of photography began when she received a Fisher Price 110 film camera at the age of 5. She was briefly enamored with the pop of single-use flash bulbs until she got the prints…and never used them again.

When she’s not pressing the shutter button, Alexandra loves taking road trips, hiking, skiing, playing golf, gluten free baking, painting, writing and reading.
