Art Deco

An aesthetic most widely known through architectural marvels—among them the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building—Art Deco is an eclectic style that emerged just before World War I. These internationally-based emerging artists are taking a cue from artists such as Tamara de Lempicka and others to make work marked by bright colors and bold geometric forms.
